29-31 oct. 2020
University of Sultan Moulay Slimane - Beni Mellal (Maroc)
A meeting on the theme "Hydrogeomorphology and Global environmental change : Contemporary challenges in Mediterranean landscapes" will take place in Morocco, at University of Sultan Moulay Slimane, Beni Mellal, March 20, 21 and 22, 2020. The Main objective of this meeting is to review the present state of knowledge on erosion-prone landscapes in the Mediterranean region, to provided a global perspective on the factors that explain the spatial diversity of erosion processes and their complexity, to discuss the main ways of adapting to global change, to promote the dissemination of its results and to promote collaborations between North-South and South-South researchers. Topics : Topic 1 : Soil Degradation by Water Erosion: Hydrosedimentary Modeling and Sediment Connectivity. Topic 2 : The use of radionuclides for estimating erosion and evaluation of territorial developments. Topic 3 : Spatialization and modeling of water erosion : Contribution of precision and geomatics technologies. Topic 4 : Assessment of the impact of global change on soil degradation.
