2020 Vietnam Symposium in Macroeconomic Dynamics and Stability

The Vietnam Symposium in Macroeconomic Dynamics and Stability (VSMD) is a focused international conference organized annually by the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global) to provide academics, doctoral students, practitioners and policymakers with a forum for presenting their research findings and discussing ongoing challenges and issues in the broad areas of macroeconomics, monetary economics and international macro finance. It is also an ideal occasion for scholars to exchange research experiences and develop research projects of common interest. The Symposium welcomes submissions of theoretical, empirical or quantitative research of high standards. Topics of interest include, but not limited to: economic growth, economic fluctuations, the effects of monetary and fiscal policy, the political aspects of macroeconomics, exchange rate determination and other elements of open economy macroeconomics, the macroeconomics of income inequality, and macroeconomic forecasting. The VSMD-2019 will be hosted by the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, which is under the patronage of the State Bank of Vietnam, and will take place on 13-14 July 2020, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
