Quantum Gravity in Bordeaux

15-17 oct. 2019
LaBRI, Université de Bordeaux - Talence (France)

QGB gathers researchers interested in modern approaches to quantum gravity which have a heavy combinatorial content. Of particular importance to us are the SYK model for the holographic dual of black holes, and SYK-inspired tensorial field theories. The SYK model and the related tensorial field theories enjoy remarkably interesting properties. In particular, they exhibit conformal invariance and explicit solvability in the infrared and large N limit. Such properties can be understood combinatorially and have made the field a very active one in the past few years. We will discuss the latest advances.
