Morocco has large deposits of renewable energies: • Average radiation that exceeds 5 kWh /m²/d: • A wind potential of more than 6000 MW • A significant hydraulic potential for hydraulic micro-plants: more than 200 exploitable sites; • Very considerable biomass potential. • 3500 km of coastline. The country has launched several major programs to reduce its economic dependence on fossil fuels and to reduce its carbon footprint on the environment. Morocco has organized the COP22 in 2016 and looks forward to keeping its commitment in the environement protection to the global community. The objectives are the contribution of renewable energies up to 42% in installed electrical power in 2020 and 52% in 2030. In addition, several research programs have been launched notably by the Research Institute in Solar Energy and Novell Energies ( IRESEN). In parallel, the Moroccan government has undertaken a vast energy efficiency program aimed at achieving a reduction in the Kingdom's energy consumption of 12% by 2020 and 15% by 2030. Thus, several laboratories have developed their research on Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency topics, the objective of this International conference. The laboratory of Renewable Energies and Intelligent Systems Laboratory of the FST of Fez organizes this third edition of this international conference, giving the success of theprevious editions of 2011 and 2017 as a contribution helping the development of this sector. This conference is part of the dynamics that the Kingdom is experiencing in this sector, which is materialized by the implementation of major projects in solar and wind energy. The main objective of the ICREEE'2019 Conference is to bring together academics, professionals, young researchers in Morocco and abroad and all stakeholders in the field, to discuss the realities and prospects for the development of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, two promising and growing sectors around the world. High level conferences will be hosted and research will be presented. They will be the subject of scientific exchanges, which will be an opportunity for the participants to establish cooperative relations, university-university or university-industry, mutual exchange of know-how and the identification of partnerships for innovative research projects. Particular attention will be given to the participation of industry in the sector to strengthen the link university business. An international scientific committee, composed of confirmed researchers, will ensure the selection of the works that will be presented and the proposal of the final program. Articles accepted will be submitted for publication in a an International Conference Prceedings (To be determined). We also hope that this event will contribute to the integration of the university in its socio-economic environment and strengthen its role as a driving force and initiator of development through research and innovation.
