The conference Semaine d’Etudes de Chimie Organique, in English: Week of Organic Chemistry Studies, has been created in 1985 in Clermont-Ferrand (FR). Its main goal is to facilitate and promote professional exchanges between young researchers. Since its creation, the SECO has been dedicated to late stage PhD students. It enables them to describe results which were obtained during their research and to meet industrial and academic lecturers.
