French-Austrian-German Workshop on Consumer Behaviour
24-25 avr. 2014
AgroParisTech, 19 avenue de Maine, Paris (Montparnasse area) - Paris (France)
Francophone and German speaking countries formerly had rather different research traditions and were separated by a language barrier. In times of globalization and social media, formerly separated cultural areas become increasingly connected. With this third edition of the French-Austrian-German workshop we intend to provide a platform for scientific exchange and networking between francophone and German speaking researchers, and more widely with researchers from all around the world who are interested in consumer research topics. Our 2014 workshop is focused on “Consuming in new ways in a changing world”. Contributions should focus on latest theory development and findings regarding new or changing ways of consumption related to our fast changing environment. Any aspect of consumer behaviour can be addressed in relation with this focus. We invite theoretical, empirical, and methodological papers. Research applying quantitative methods is as welcome as qualitative and mixed methods research. A special track will be dedicated to research on consumer empowerment and sustainability. The language of the workshop is English.
