Ocean Infrastructures and Resources Conference

5-7 mai 2021
 - Porto (Portugal)
OIRC is a forum for debate of design bases and legal frameworks related to all fields of ocean exploitation, with a particular focus on emerging sectors such as marine renewable energy and deep sea-mining. It aims to provide a means for all players in the industry, regulatory, research and political arenas to share knowledge, present the challenges faced, and contribute to safe, secure, and sustainable use of ocean resources from a regulatory and guideline perspective. In parallel, OIRC hosts technical committees tasked with analysing existing legal frameworks and design guidelines looking for legal gaps and bottlenecks, as well as needs for standardisation and design guidelines, and suggest improvements to regulatory bodies.
